Local Products – Cornelian cherry liquor
Cornelian cherries (“Krana”) come from bushes that grow in mountainous areas and produce oval-shaped fruits, approximately 1.5-3 centimeters in size, which are deep orange when mature. The fruit is harvested and placed in large jars with sugar and alcohol (locally, they use tsipouro, a Greek distilled spirit).
